Explore the Solent with your Boat Share Club membership

Our location in Portsmouth Harbour gives you great access to the Solent and there’s plenty of things to do by boat. With a huge variety of places, you can visit on a day trip. Events to watch, waterside restaurants and pubs to explore. Harbours, creeks, towns and beaches – all at the tip of your throttle lever!

We have a fully dredged channel at Trafalgar Wharf which you can access at all states of the tide. Always check the tide tables. At some of the places you may visit the tide does go out completely, such as at Bembridge Harbour approaches and Ryde Sands.

Solent destinations

The Solent is packed with a fabulous choice of destinations to suit your mood. For somewhere quiet, why not pick up a vistors buoy or drop anchor in Newtown Creek or the Beaulieu River for a swim and lunch?

Cruising Map

Membership covers extensive cruising grounds across the Solent. From Totland Bay to Bembridge Harbour and Hurst Castle to Southsea. You can go further afield to Chichester Harbour with an additional induction session too.
