All essential training is included with your membership. As part of your induction, you will achieve your RYA Powerboat Training Level 2 status or refresher training, if you have previously obtained your Level 2.
Here on site, we have an RYA approved Powerboat Training Centre which, like the Boat Club, is one of the Trafalgar Group businesses.
Your training takes place with our friendly RYA accredited Instructors. They are expert at working with complete newcomers to boats, and will help you gain all the skills you need.
The course is the ‘industry standard’ to achieve, and it is packed with useful powerboat training tips and and skills, so you’ll feel confident and safe on the water. You will cover many topics including:
Our instructors will make an individual assessment of your progress. If there is something they feel you need to spend more time on, they will work with you on this. So you will never feel ‘dropped in at the deep-end’.
Once you have completed your Powerboat Level 2 and your induction you will be ready to start booking and taking boats out.
