Since January 2017, Steve has been running Boat Club Trafalgar. He has 20 years experience working in the marine industry, and spent many years with Yamaha distributor in Kenya, East Africa.
Steve holds the RYA Commercially endorsed Advanced Powerboat certificate, the RYA VHF radio licence, as well as being an Advanced PADI Open Water Diver & PADI Rescue Diver.
Married with 2 sons, Steve was born and raised in Kenya, East Africa. He started boating at an early age, spending most of his free time exploring creeks, fishing, spearfishing, diving and water skiing with family and friends.
He has since travelled extensively throughout Africa, exploring South Sudan, Uganda, Tanzania, Zanzibar, Rwanda, East Congo, Malawi, Mozambique and South Africa amongst others!
Always ready for a challenge, Steve has climbed Mt Kilimanjaro and Mt Kenya, the two highest mountains in Africa. He’s cage dived with great white sharks and white water rafted down the Zambesi River, hot air ballooned over the Masai Mara game reserve and tracked gorillas in Uganda.
Suffice to say Steve enjoys travelling and exploring new places off the beaten track!
