Langstone Harbour

Langstone Harbour

Langstone Harbour is a quiet and under-explored Harbour, packed with naval history. Immediately obvious in the water is one of the Mulberry Harbours, built on Hayling Island ready for the D Day landings. This one broke so it was left behind!

Just inside on the left is the Eastney Cruising Association and the Southsea Marina, with a bar and restaurants close by.

A run-up to the top of Langstone Harbour takes you to Farlington Marshes, a sanctuary for birds. Pop-under the road bridge onto Hayling Island and you have access to the top of Chichester Harbour. There’s the Salt Shack Cafe in Northney Marina, and two great pubs, The Ship and The Royal Oak at Langstone, a short walk away.

PLEASE NOTE: If you wish to cruise to Chichester and Langstone Harbours please book in for an additional induction course.
