Fishing in the Solent

The Solent offers an amazing variety of fish at different times of year too.

Here’s our favourite spots for going fishing in the Solent.

1. Fish for bass in the Harbour
2. Fish for white fish (cod, whiting, pouting) off Gillkicker Point
3. Fish for mackerel by the forts
4. Fish for white fish off Ryde Middle
5. Bramble Bank – cod, squid, bass, ray

 

Calypso is our best boat for serious fishing in the Solent.
