On the way to Cowes we’ll call into Osborne Bay, a popular sheltered anchorage, overlooked by the magnificent Osborne House.
One of the world’s most famous boating and yachting centres, Cowes hosts many famous regattas such as Cowes Week and the start of the Rolex Fastnet Race. It’s also a popular destination for power boaters, with a variety of marinas on both shores.
Our tour will head up the River Medina, passing a variety of working boat yards south of the chain ferry. We’ll moor at the Folly Inn, another famous pub to visit by boat.
